Dapper Amsterdam
The Hoofddorpplein square was laid out in 1927 in the south of Amsterdam. The neighborhood is mainly built according to the famous Amsterdam School style and is a lovely area to live, work and shop. It lies just outside some hugely famous hoods and is a place of human proportions offering a varied range of companies. There are big retail chains and a broad mix of smaller shops and local businesses. Stuck between the Vondelpark hood, the Baarsjes and New West, and crossed by the prettiest tram line 12 and the practical bus line 15. This site was setup and is maintained by the biz of the Hoofddorpplein quarter. We want to show inhabitants the way around and make them aware of the wealth of businesses in this small part of Amsterdam. Support your local entrepreneurs and keep this hood lively and varied.
